The tank bottom ball valves by Adler Spa are solutions designed for installation at the base of tanks and vessels, allowing the complete discharge of fluids safely and efficiently. This type of valve is essential in industrial applications where the contents of a vessel must be completely emptied without leaving residues, preventing stagnation and ensuring a cleaner and safer process.

The “tank bottom design” features a structure that integrates perfectly with the bottom of the tank, improving drainage. This configuration is particularly useful in sectors such as the chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical and food industries, where optimal fluid management and ease of cleaning are essential to ensure safety and quality in production processes.

Adler Spa tank bottom ball valves are “flat-body” type valves, with full bore and an oversized flange for tank connection, providing a stable and secure connection. They are available in versions machined from bar stock or manufactured from casting, ensuring high mechanical performance and long service life even under demanding operating conditions.

Adler Spa manufactures these ball valves in two different executions:

• FA8 type machined from bar stock, with oversized flange for tank connection and 15° inclined stem to avoid interference with the tank bottom during operation

• FB8 type machined from bar stock or manufactured from casting, with oversized flange for tank connection
